Cub Scout Pack 734

Refund Policy

General (tickets, reservations, deposits, materials, subscriptions, and so forth:)


From time to time, Pack 734 will sponsor various events or activities that will require prior financial commitment from scouts, family members and/or friends attending or participating in such events or activities.  Notifications of such events or activities will be made to every family within the Pack.  These notifications will include such information as time, place, cost, and methods of payments. These payments will be for such things as tickets, reservations, meals, services, craft materials and so forth. Once the payment itself or the commitment to make such payment has been received by the Pack, the Pack will use best efforts to secure deliverables or services as identified within the information provided.  To insure such deliverables or services are available at the time identified, the Pack may be required to pay or commit to pay in advance of such events or activities.  At the time that the Pack has made the commitment by verbal, written or by actually completing the payment transaction to the vendor providing such services or deliverables, the Pack can not provide any refunds or provide relief of such commitment from the Scout Family for any reason.  The Pack is not required or obligated in any fashion to notify anyone when such commitments are made to the vendor providing such deliverables or services. 

 

Cub Scout Enrollment Fee:
Annual Cub Scout Enrollment Fees are collected to fund each boy's required Boy Scout enrollment fee with the Boy Scout of America organization, Scouting magazine, insurance, and so forth.  If for some reason a Scout elects to terminate enrollment with Pack 734 during the course of the year, then the Pack upon request will refund any remaining funds to the Scouts family as established by the following method:

1. Base = (Annual Dues Paid minus any item(s) committed to be paid, required to be paid or paid for the specific scout such as enrollment fees, subscriptions, insurances, tee shirts, activities , and so forth)

2. Refund = Base X 3/4 (within September and October),

                = Base X 1/2 (with in November and December),

                = $0 (months thereafter)
